It is only on occasion that you will see me recommend ebooks.  It will only happen with ebooks that I have bought and used.  Once they prove themselves to my satisfaction then I will recommend them.

The first is from Neil Shearing.  Auto Income Secrets - This book will show you how to create an ad sense site fairly quickly that can begin to give you a return on investment fairly quickly.  Now if you don't think that ad sense will be a long term revenue stream or if you are not willing to invest some money to get started this is not for you.  You will not need all of the tools that he recommends to follow this successfully but you will need to be willing to invest about $200 to get this up and running.  If you buy the book I will gladly help and show you which tools are necessary and which are not.  Once you have done a site this way it is relatively simple to create others on an ongoing basis.  None of them will make you rich but if you can make $150 a month from a site how many of them will you be wiling to put up?

The second is one that has created a storm of controversy - The Rich Jerk - Now the website is obnoxious and I don't agree with all of the methods he subscribes to.  However for the price of the book there are more than enough ideas to make a return on your investment quite easily.  The caveat is that you must actually use the methods and take action.  If you are not willing to do that then pass on this book.

News of interest

I will be in Charlotte next week end for the Focus4theFuture seminar.  Really looking forward to meeting some of my business partners and mentors in person.  Should be a great time.

There has been some shake up in the traffic exchanges.  WebmasterQuest and ClicksMatrix both have new owners.  Will be interesting to see how this effects their results.

Niche Marketing Tools

Infogoround - Continues to be an excellent source of private label articles.  This and blogger together can allow you to create a niche site with very little effort, minimal HTML knowledge and quite quickly all for $24.95 a month.  To see how this can work for you check out this article here.

Click Spy - Knowing which of my niche sites are getting Google clicks, which Click Bank, Amazon, Commission Junction and Link Share links on which pages are being clicked is invaluable.  If you are building niche sites this tool is invaluable.

X Site Pro -  This is a phenomenal tool.  It allows me to update my various sites with a point and click feature.  Ad Google Ad Sense ads or links anywhere on a page with automatic wrap around.  It will create a Google site map for your site and an actual site map for your site with no effort on your part.  It checks each page and gives you seo tips.  All in all despite being a bit pricey I have found it more than worth it if you are serious about creating niche sites.

Web Log Expert Lite - This is a free program that will allow you to download your access files and get some really good stats to see where exactly your traffic is coming from.  Remember that knowledge is power and this will allow you to see what is working.
