Your marketing Tips

Sorry for the delay in getting this out this month. Has not been a great month for me personally but business wise things continue to percolate right along.

There are two interesting businesses I have gotten involved with along with my core recommendations. The first is Better Universe. Unfortunately, their page shows a lot of hype which is normally a turnoff for me. Looking closer at it you start to see that there are real products and a new distribution channel underlying it. Hmmm not your usual hype machine that just tells you how much you can make by selling an opportunity. This alone started me looking closer. Then I looked at the people and companies on board with this. The first is Beryl Woulk. Do a google and you will find that he has:

1. Invented the infomercial
2. Started the Home Shopping Network
3. Started the AARP (American Association of Retired People
4. The Lifetime Network and much more

This is a real player building real companies. Then there is Prime Domain, the company behind the distribution channel. They will be bringing movies over the net to your TV. No more going to Blockbuster, waiting on the mailman or anything else when you want to see a movie. Order it and get it NOW. Some of the products they have introduced are quite familiar to:

1. TIVO
2. MP3 player
3. Quicktime and many more.

So because of this and the fact that you can get involved for the price of a pizza it is worth at least checking out. Really expect to see this on my recommended list soon.

The second company is 5 Paychecks. Again this is not something I normally look at because of the hype. The underlying concept is what really caught my attention. Joining and promoting one company to create a down line in 5 different companies. As someone who has gotten burnt (think Kiosk Leads) by building a nice down line and then watching it disappear overnight when they pulled the plug I have to love the concept. Then the companies that they picked. What is the first one? KIOSK. Any regular reader knows how I feel about them. They have been on my recommended list forever.

Okay that caught my attention and I went to look closer. Costs you $40 a month to join. As soon as you have recruited 4 people under you (whether from your effort or spillover) you stop paying the fee and get a platinum account at Kiosk. Once each of your 4 recruits gets their 4 you are entered into the other 4 companies (again at no cost to you). The big thing is that once you have built this down line if something should happen to one of the companies you and your down line would be moved intact to a new company and not suffer the income loss that I did. This one is worth a look but not a strong recommendation yet.

A former recommendation of mine has come out with something new. MPAM has come out with a 20 steps to success program to utilize their niche sites while creating your own. The basic concept is good but leaves out a few steps I would recommend. The way it is structured it will make you money but it benefits MPAM more than the person setting it up. This is supposed to be rectified with the advance lessons on using the niche sites but if any of you would like the information to fix some of these things from the start contact me. Again, I like MPAM and Michael Russell but have just gotten disgusted over promised things never happening in the quoted time frame if ever.

A point in fact is the ebook lesson. I am creating an ebook on Optimizing Your Use of Traffic Exchanges. Has been a much steeper learning curve than it would have been if the lesson had been finished a year and a half ago instead of just being removed from the lessons altogether. Hopefully, it will be done shortly and you get a copy for being a loyal reader.

The other thing I have started is to give seminars on various topics in my Hot Conference room. Yesterday I did one on traffic exchnge usage.
